As a girl, I have to say the biggest thing a guy can do is actually have the cojones to ask questions. Don’t be afraid of it, it just shows that you care enough about the situation to make sure you do your best.
Also, as much as sex can be about pleasuring yourself, make sure it’s your first goal to make her feel good.
Have you tried talking to your best friend about it yet? When he said it didn’t mean anything that strikes me as odd. Obviously I do not know the guy myself so I’m unsure if he is a good person but if he was to say it didn’t mean anything surely he shouldn’t have risked your relationship over this thing that “meant nothing”.
However, you clearly care for him and if you like him enough you should give him a second chance. Everyone is human and everyone makes mistakes.
However, you should definitely be assertive and make clear to him that if such a thing were to happen again that would be it between you two. You have to have respect for yourself!
